Brittney T. Sobel, a tenacious yet collaborative attorney and advocate, has been repeatedly touted as a Super Lawyer in her field of matrimonial and surrogacy law.

Brittney has been practicing matrimonial and family law exclusively since 2013, and is experienced in all aspects of complex matrimonial litigation.

Brittney has been practicing surrogacy law since 2019 and uses her personal surrogacy experience to guide her clients through the surrogacy process from gestational carrier contract to birth.

Brittney is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she graduated with a concentration in Intellectual Property, the valuation and distribution of which are rapidly emergent issues in matrimonial law. Upon graduation, Brittney served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Arthur Diamond in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, where she assisted in drafting decisions and orders.  Prior to forming The Sobel Firm, Brittney worked for a preeminent matrimonial firm in Manhattan, handling high net worth divorces.

Brittney is a member of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and the Young Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Matrimonial Law Section of the New York County Lawyers Association. 

Brittney is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
